Why AB
There are countless reasons for choosing an AB Inflatable as your tender, but there are just as many reasons for choosing an AB Inflatables as your primary boat.
Experience
Born in 1969, this year AB lnflatables is celebrating over 50 years of non-stop production. Today, we are proud to say that our products have touched almost every corner of the globe and have earned the trust of thousands of customers.
Design
Our superior rigid inflatable boats (RIBs), manufactured with the highest quality materials and attention to detail, are recognized and admired worldwide. Designed for recreational use, commercial operations and jet segments, they are available in over than 80 models.
Every AB model has a unique forward hull design that creates a raised bow and enhances performance by enabling easier planning with less horsepower. This allows the boat to cut through wakes and chop, virtually eliminating spray. The result is a smoother, more stable, and drier ride than any other inflatable boat on the market.
Quality
Audits
Our commitment to delivering the highest quality products to our customers extends to submitting all our manufacturing processes to rigorous evaluations by third-party auditors. This means building under the strict surveillance of our quality certifications – NMMA for the USA, CE for Europe and ISO 9001 quality standards.
Traceability
We offer the peace of mind that comes with creating each boat with a unique history report, documenting when it was made, and what materials were used in the process. These records have proven valuable to us to improve our production procedures along the different stages. This quality-control system, which is just one way in which we fulfill our promise to continuous learning, has enabled us to make significant improvements to our boats throughout our more than 50 years in business.
lnnovation and Craftsmanship
As part of our unshakable dedication to produce superior inflatable boats, we handcraft 100% of our boats in house, including hull, tubes, rigging and inboard engine installations. Our devotion to each boat ensures that even the smallest details are handled with care. The result is a full line of inflatable boats designed and built to please our customers with the exceptional quality they have come to expect from AB.
Sales & Service Network
Our vast network of representatives worldwide provides quick responses with a personal touch. We select companies known for their technical expertise, commitment to quality work and superior customer service. Customers will be backed up around the world with a high sense of collaboration through our network partners.

Safety
Product safety is of the utmost importance for any boat builder. That is why we partner with the marine industry’s most trusted and respected suppliers, ensuring only high-quality components go into every AB boat. We further carry out our commitment to safety by continuously auditing our processes to ensure compliance with all certification requirements.
TubeTests
Several tests are applied to each and every one of the baffles on our tubes in order to guarantee the highest quality seams. As a first test, baffles of same tube are deflated between inflated baffles to check if the air is passing from one to the other. A second test applies liquids on the surface of the tube in order to identify leaks to the outside. As a third and final inspection, each baffle is pressure tested to guarantee the same performance 24 hours after the initial measure. This procedure provides our quality tube manufacturing process a high percentage of consistency. All our tubes are 100% built in house with Orca® CSM Fabric from Pennel & Flippo.
Electrical and Fuel Systems
AB’s electrical and fuel systems are designed to the standards of the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC), the marine industry’s premier global standards organization and leader in technical education and technician certification.
NMMA Certified Fuel Tanks
All AB console models use fuel tanks that are pressure-tested in accordance with ABYC standards, NMMA regulations, and meet ISO 10088 specifications.
Environment
Chrome-Free Advanced Technology Pretreatment
All of our aluminum inflatable boats are built using a cutting-edge, powder-coating pretreatment process that is chrome-free. This new eco-friendly technology maximizes corrosion protection and ensures superior coating adherence to the aluminum hull.
Emissions
Our commitment to caring far our planet extends to building our inflatable boats with NMMA certified fuel systems. They are designed, based on country-specific regulations, to minimize evaporative emissions.
Aluminum RIBs
Our aluminum hull RIBs are lightweight, enabling the use of lower-horsepower engines without sacrificing performance. This ultimately means less fuel is being used, resulting in lower emissions. Aluminum is also a highly recyclable material, allowing us to sustainably avoid using up natural resources and unnecessary energy during the production process of this material.
