move into our fourth decade of manufacturing the most seaworthy inflatables

we note
with pride that we remain true to the course set by our founder, Gianni Perego, a living legend in the inflatable boat industry.
An Italian master and aficionado of the art of handcrafting boats, Perego
has been building
them since
1969, bringing his design innovations and fine workmanship to appreciative
consumers worldwide.

The
Venezuelan facilities founded by Ulrich Heyer in 1972 under the name
of Lanchas Venezolanas, S.A. were located very close
to the Venezuelan Andes mountains, in the state of Táchira. There,
the aluminium boats by the name of "Lanven" and
"Lancraft" were built.

In
1986, Ulrich's son, Ivor Heyer, in association with Gianni Perego,
started ARTIGIANA
BATTELLI, S.A. with the purpose of manufacturing the finest inflatable
boats in the world. Then, the aluminium boat factory was relocated
to the state of Miranda and was consolidated under one same roof with the
inflatable boat factory.

In 1996, Lanchas Venezolanas, S.A. merged with
ARTIGIANA BATTELLI, S.A., where every boat is carefully designed and inspected. Each
craft is handcrafted with exacting care, not mass produced. AB uses only the highest quality materials and the most advanced technology
to meet discriminating boaters' demands for safety, dependability,
performance and styling.

Among
our commercial clients, we supply inflatable boats to the American marine
towing company Sea Tow; the charter companies The Moorings, Sun Yacht
Charters, Sun Sail, Nautor Swan; and many other consumer and official
boating organizations.

In the professional area, well known Caribbean photographer Tim Wright
has chosen AB Inflatables as a photographic platform because of the
incredible stability and durability of our craft.
Among
our OEM clients, we have also supplied boats to the Italian company, Selva Marine S.p.A.,
with both inflatable and aluminium boats.
